Many such moments come to mind for me, but one stands out. It came early in my ministry. It taught me the importance of recognizing what I now call “the caution light.”

November 1, 2011 – CHICAGO – Charles Jenkins, senior pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC) and founder of Relevant Forums, recently joined the Vanderbloemen Search Group (VSG) as partner. VSG is a high capacity national search firm with offices in Houston, Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta. Additionally, VSG has international capacity as it serves leaders and organizations abroad.

William Vanderbloemen, founder and CEO of the Vanderbloemen Search Group, said that Jenkins was a perfect and natural fit for the company as it is in the process of expansion. “I am thrilled to have Charles Jenkins join our team. He is a first class leader, and his ability to connect people and opportunities is beyond compare. When we first did work for Charles’ church, I knew we had found a winner. I never imagined it would lead to a future partnership, and am so glad it has. The future just got brighter for our firm because of Charles Jenkins,” said Vanderbloemen.

Jenkins, in his capacity as entrepreneur, community leader, and founder of Relevant Forums (which provides sought after resources and creates powerful connections for entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations), is respected for his stellar commitment to a diverse range of entrepreneurs, and his ability to add value to companies and organizations.

VSG was founded with a refined focus on identifying senior leaders for large churches, faith based entities, and not-for-profit organizations. But, as VSG expands, serving more public and private sector clients including mainstream corporations and educational institutions, Jenkins comes on board at a critical time. They will be utilizing his expertise as he has worked with many leaders of large-scale corporations, staff teams, and organizations.

Jenkins credits the unique focus and expertise of the firm, along with William Vanderbloemen’s “consummate professionalism” with attracting him to the company, first as a client and finally as a partner.

“I am very happy to join such an accomplished leader, William Vanderbloemen, in the amazing work he and his firm have been executing. VSG is a phenomenal company with an expert team of professionals that has helped many organizations identify top-notch talent and implement effective business strategies, which have propelled these entities to new heights of measurable success, “ Jenkins stated. “ The search group’s focus on truly understanding the client and their specific needs combined with their emphasis on a candidate’s character makes them the perfect partner in alleviating the stress of the search, “ Jenkins went on to state. Jenkins will officially join the firm on November 1st, 2011 while continuing to lead FMBC as senior pastor.

Jenkins is a sought after advisor, Grammy Award winning songwriter, author and dynamic communicator. He is a leader known and revered for his innovative thinking, contemporary leadership, business savvy and holistic approach to social change and large-scale community development. For more information on Jenkins, visit www.charlesjenkins.com and www.fellowshipchicago.com
